We bought a Piano

So Victoria has been taking piano lessons for about a year now and had her first recital. Daddy saw what a great job she did so he started looking on Craigslist for a piano! He found one for $40. It was made in 1920!

Bad Blogger

Okay I swear  I am going to try to do this more often. A lot has happened since the last time I posted. Mia has joined our family and is now 2.5 years old. That shows how bad I am at this.
Here is a picture from this Christmas 2013

Yesterday Victoria celebrated her half birthday at Preschool. Daddy was even able to make it. She decided she wanted to take her favorite breakfast food, Flying Donuts. They are the most delicious donuts I have ever had. After her day at preschool, she spend the rest of the day with Mommy at her school. Victoria acted as if it was her real birthday all day. She kept wanting to celebrate.

Well, I haven't been very good at this blogging thing. I think my new resolution is to start trying to keep up with this weekly. Things are good here. Victoria is 4.5 years old and Sophia is going to be two in March. Where does time go? This is the latest picture from this Christmas.

Week of January 4

We are back into the swing of our routines. Victoria is back to dance, gymnastic and preschool. Sophia continues to get into everything. She is much more active than Victoria was. In fact, one day this past week Grandma Donna had the girls' bags packed and shoes on and at the front door when I arrived to pick them up after school. Sophia wore Grandma out. This coming Friday, Victoria is scheduled for her sinus scraping surgery. We hope this is the answer to all of her illnesses this past winter.

Christmas

Victoria dances at the YMCA. They have a Breakfast with Santa where the kids get to display a little of what they have learned. Victoria's song was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. She sang her heart out and did her own thing but at least she got out there. I think she is going to love the stage.

We had a wonderful Christmas. We were honored to be asked to be the Holy Family at our church's Christmas Eve Service. Sophia was Baby Jesus and Victoria was an angel. You can guess whom Manny and I were.

Poopy in the Potty

Today Victoria poopied on the potty not only once but three times. I guess she realized Mommy was going to keep her confined to the house until she did it.  So I guess we will make it to Preschool this year after all.

Victoria singing "Frosty the Snowman" Winter 2008

First posting

We are creating this blog not only to stay in touch with our family and friends but to also keep a family journal which is something we've been wanting to do for quite sometime. The content of this blog will vary from daily activities to family vacations. One thing is for sure, we will post regurlarly (at least every week) to ensure we keep up with the routine.

Both Stacey and I will have fun with this blog so we hope you enjoy reading as well.

Be safe.
